Big Time Disappointment
“Are you sure this is the real you or someone else?” I asked the DJ, as it kept me surprised at what he was playing.
At my children's school, their proprietor gave them a handbill to deliver to my husband and me. I tried to go through the bill and saw so many items listed to choose from. My husband asked me to search for the one that I felt we would decide on. I decided to go for the DJ, as my husband had always heard of this DJ who played at their graduation party some time ago. According to him, the DJ played so well. His playing tactics were the talk of the town. The echo of his praises kept growing and growing. I have also heard of him from a friend who spoke well of him.
After deep thought, my husband decided to give him a call. He called him, and they agreed on the terms of payment. The money was not as much as expected.
My husband gave me the directive to call the proprietor just to inform him of the item we had selected. He noted it, while others also picked up some other items. Meanwhile, I told him the name of the DJ we had paid for. On hearing the name, he was praised and thanked me and my husband so much for using this DJ to raise his school.
“I have heard so much about him in town and have witnessed his playing tactics. I think bringing him to my school is an honor," the proprietor said.
Well, preparation was ongoing while the DJ was updated on the venue, day, and time. He said I should take him to the hall we were going to use so that he could see where and how to set his speakers. This began to give me some discouragement, but then I had no choice other than to do as he asked. I took him to the hall, and he gazed at it critically.
Now, it's D-Day, and everyone is present, as well as the parents and students.
The first disappointment occurred when the floor was opened, but the DJ was nowhere to be found. I tried to call him, but his cell phone number was switched off. This got me disappointed for a while, but after some minutes, he resurfaced from nowhere. I only talked to him for a bit and left the rest for my husband. My husband also could not tell that much, as he gave him a flimsy excuse, which my husband accepted.
When he was seen in the crowd, everyone began to hail him and rain praise on him, as they had known him to be the best DJ ever.
Mwabonje Ringa
He started with a sweet song, which got everyone carried away. The whole crowd started shouting, covering the sound from the sound systems.
When the crowd was quiet, the music kept playing without changing to another song. After playing for 15 minutes, the hall became rowdy. I went straight to the DJ with my husband and asked him, “What's going on?”
“Nothing; why did you ask?” He asked.
“Are you sure this is the real you? You know this is my first time seeing you," I said.
“It's me, for sure," he replied.
“The song being played is better, but why is it not changing?” I said to him,
The system that was initially playing fine was playing with an unwanted sound. The sound became unpleasant to our ears. With the look on people's faces, I could read the meaning of it.
The DJ tried to put things in order, but then the sound systems were not working fine. Time was elapsing as parents were disappointed with the DJ's sound systems. They lost hope in him, and most of them said they would not take him to a party ever again.
He picked up the mic and apologized for making the party a mess. He said there was an electronic component that got burned in his system, which caused the unwanted sound.
We had no choice other than to manage him that way, but with a lot of disappointment.
Hmmm! D.Js have a way of messing up a good party. I can imagine how terrible you must have felt. Did you pay his full charges? I mean since he didn't deliver he doesn't deserve his full pay.
I paid ooo...just to allow peace reign
It was very disappointing without a doubt, in addition to feeling like money was wasted on such a bad show. It seems to me that the DJ will no longer enjoy the fame that they had given him.
Happy Thursday.
He has bastardized his good work
An extremely stressful feeling because you had the chance to choose a famous DJ to liven up an event that everyone was looking forward to and that person didn't live up to expectations.
The famous DJ turned out to fumble
