Some changes on pattern required

There was a time when students had to struggle a lot to study. People around us who are many years older than us tell us that it was very difficult for them to even get a book. They tell that they used to study in such poverty that many people used to share a single book among themselves. Today I see that people have the facility of internet, so nowadays children do not even need to open books. If a child is not able to understand a topic, then he can learn that topic in 10 ways for free on YouTube. Today's time is such that many doors are open for the student who wants to acquire knowledge and he can also acquire knowledge of a much higher level than his level. There is no doubt that all this has happened with the help of technology because if technology was not so developed, then perhaps students would not have got so much support today. If I tell you my experience, in our time, there was internet but it was not so developed that we could study with its help because very few people had internet connection at home and very few people also had mobile phones with internet. In such a situation, we had no other option than studying from books. But thankfully, we had enough books with which we could complete our entire syllabus. But at that time also there was competition that study from this book, it is well written and the examination sets questions from the book, all this was a common thing. Those students who belonged to rich families were buying books of almost all publishers.

Now if we talk about these strict rules, then these strict rules are made to keep the students in check. If we see, in any school, the average students are very high and the toppers are very low. The school should select the toppers from among all these students. Now in such a case, if the test is not conducted with strict rules, then the average students can also come in the merit list and in such a case, a lot of students will get selected but later they will have to go through more difficult exams which they may not be able to qualify because if they get used to easy exams, then how will they qualify there. Today, there is so much competition and so much population that to select children, difficult exams have to be set so that the most selected children come in the merit list.

According to me, if the board has to make any changes, then it should change the syllabus because today I see that the syllabus pattern is too much and there are some things in it which are very outdated and because of this, first of all the burden of syllabus increases on the students, but what is the use of studying such a syllabus which is outdated and which cannot be useful for them in the future because all this syllabus is only till qualifying the exam, after that something new has to be studied. Take any competitive exam, the syllabus in it is so huge that it will take many days for the student to memorize the syllabus and if we see, the questions made from which syllabus are of very less marks, now in such a situation, the biggest confusion here is that which topic should be studied. The syllabus should contain information about the current technology and the upcoming technology and the syllabus should be updated every year because the things are changing from time to time due to which students have to study outdated things which are of no use to them.
