Physical Punishment Makes Childeren Arrogant

Hello to all hive users 🙏❤️😊
Hope you all are healthy and doing great in your life🙂

When a person enters married life, he gets many responsibilities. Even more responsibilities come when he becomes a parent. From the time a child is born till the time he makes his career, the parents always have responsibilities. This is something that every parent has to bear. Special care has to be taken of children when they are young. When a child is born, he remains in front of the parents' eyes for about 3 years, but when he starts going to school, that is the age when children enter another environment and there they meet many types of people. Sometimes they meet good people and sometimes bad people. By staying in the company of wrong people, they have committed some mistakes there and it is common here that children commit mistakes because the answers go away from the parents' eyes, so in other environments, many times they do not find anyone who can stop them from right and wrong. It is a common thing for children to commit mistakes and this thing is often seen quite often. There are many parents who scold their children a lot for this mistake and sometimes they also get a big punishment. I do not consider this thing right because many times it happens that children get scared of punishment. If my children make a mistake, then I will first scold them a little and then after that I will explain to those children with great love what is right and what is wrong in this and if this mistake keeps happening again and again, then what will be the bad consequences of this thing in the future. I will give them many examples so that they understand this thing better that what is right and what is wrong. If you explain to children with so much love, then they will not make mistakes again. Every parent should talk to the children daily and should also take out some time for them. In daily life, children face many types of new things and they do not understand what is right and what is wrong because they are young and they do not understand those things.

I have seen an example of this. Many years ago, there used to be a family in our neighbourhood. It consisted of three children and their parents. The children's father used to drink a lot and would mostly remain inebriated. His children would be between 9 and 15 years old. The two children were good but the eldest boy had become spoiled by bad company. Because of this bad company, he would often commit such mistakes that people would come to the house to complain about him. When people would come to the house to complain about him, then his father would punish him a lot. Even his mother could not say anything because no one could do anything in front of his father. This process of giving punishment continued and it would happen two-three times a week. Due to this physical punishment, he started becoming more spoiled and then he started associating with boys who used to do drugs and were spoiled. When that boy got educated and started going to college, he started associating with bad boys and he became so corrupt that it was very difficult to control him. Today that boy has gone to jail many times and his condition is very bad because he keeps consuming drugs all day long. I think that if his parents had talked to him on time and explained to him lovingly, then perhaps today that boy would have been living a good life, but today his condition is very bad.

Giving physical punishment is not a solution because it often makes children even worse. First of all, children should be explained with love and by doing this, children will understand, if the children still do not listen, then you can try some other solution, but physical punishment is not a solution because if he is not listening with love, he will never listen with physical punishment and he will become even more arrogant.

Thanks for reading till the end

Like everything in this life, there are ways and means of saying things, and that makes a big difference, because depending on how you say or do it, you will achieve one result or another.

You’re absolutely right—physical punishment often does more harm than good. Patience, love, and communication are key in guiding children toward the right path.
Addressing their mistakes early with understanding can prevent bigger problems in the future. I have see many example of how children with strict parent turned out

If we talk to our children every day and treat them like a friend, they will not go on the wrong path.

Sometimes when you spare the rod you spoil the child. Some children are so stubborn that they need little physical punishment to give them sense.

But you are not wrong, communication is more effective.

Communication is very effective. If children are beaten then they become stubborn and they are at a tender age and can take some wrong steps.

that you say is right in many cases but I come to this age and look at the current generation, I think that physical punishment should be given in many cases. For example, first of all in the case of school, teachers should be given permission to punish. Because in this way the children of the current generation will learn to respect the teachers. After this, parents should punish their children at home. This will create a fear in their minds that what they should do and what they should not do. If they do which they will be punished and which they will not?

I have mixed with many bad boys who are addicted to various drugs but I have never smoked a single cigarette so far. Because it is forbidden in my family. Because when I was a child, I once smoked a pack of cigarettes while having fun and my mother punished me for it. From then on, I knew that it was bad. And now, even at the age of 30+, I have never smoked that cigarette.

Just by explaining it well or giving a little scolding, the children of today understand the right and wrong very late. But when they are submissive, they are immediately mixed with that bad environment that they cannot leave later.

I agree with the point of punishment in school, but this punishment should be given only when the child is repeatedly making mistakes. In many places, I have seen that children are given excessive punishment even for small mistakes, which is wrong because why use hands for something that can be solved by talking.
