Lyricist Needed Some Improvement While Writing

Music is such a thing in today's life that everyone loves to listen to and we cannot imagine entertainment without music. Once I was travelling in a bus and the conductor of the bus was playing songs. The conductor was a little young and was playing modern songs of today. There was an old man sitting there whose age would be around 60 years. He told me that are these songs, their lyrics are so strange that it doesn't make any sense. He then told me that the songs used to be there in our time that you could find out so much meaning of each line, I don't know what to say. The lyricists of that time used to find out the meaning of each line of the song after thinking carefully and used to write that line very thoughtfully so that the listener could easily understand the meaning of that thing. At some point I found his words quite impressive because till now I did not pay much attention to the lyrics because I like the music of the song more.

If the song has a good beat and good music, you start dancing to those songs even if you don't understand the language of the song and I was doing the same till now but when that uncle told me that lyrics are very important, I felt like thinking a lot about this thing. Then I started thinking that why did the people of the old times like to listen to old songs because the songs of that time were different and if you understand the lyrics of those songs, you will definitely enjoy it. Even though those songs did not have that good music and beat because the technology of that time was very different and old too, but still if you listen to those songs, you will remember the old days and you will dance to those songs.

The lyrics of today's modern songs are quite different and there are many songs whose lyrics do not make any sense at all. I have noticed one thing that among today's modern artists, some artists make songs according to today's generation and they focus more on music and also on the tuning of the song because the young generation likes to listen to such songs which are a bit hip hop and after listening to these songs, one can dance in ecstasy. If you go to the gym, you must have noticed that such songs are played there which give motivation, even if you do not understand the lyrics of those songs, but the tuning and beats of those songs are very high due to which a person feels like dancing more.

Earlier, the songs that were composed used to give a message to the society and those who composed the songs of that time used to spend a lot of time in singing and writing songs because they knew that everyone will listen to these songs so that no one gets a wrong message and their songs do not get defamed. But nowadays, such songs are being composed that if their meaning is taken out, then very few songs will not be worth listening to in the society. There are some music composers who have become composers but they do not show their creativity. They copy Yadav songs or write such songs that create a controversy and their song becomes famous.
