The Little Things Will Always Matter

I’m actually blushing right now as I write. I’m sure if you’ve been following me, you’d know I’m the queen of “God when and God am I a shoe?”Turns out I’m not a shoe and God heard me but I’m still single though. Anyway, you all remember Mr Anonymous right? From the pre valentine beach date, yes. So we’ve been talking, nothing much just talking about stuff and getting to know each other. I’m not here to say the things we’ve been talking about but I’m sure you know.

I’ve come to know he’s a really cool person and a gentleman that listens. Which lady doesn’t want that? (Well, I do though) At the pre valentine date he noticed that I kept on cleaning my palms. After we went home he asked me about it and I told him I sweat in my palms. He also got to know that even though I like perfumes, I’m allergic to strong scents. Ladies and Gentlemen,I had call today from a delivery guy and I was confused.

Normally it’s either my friend is sending me something or I bought something but this time it was neither of the above.
After he delivered the package he didn’t ask for payment. “Okay, this is new”,I thought to myself because even with my friends I always pay the delivery myself. I was now thinking maybe it was my mom’s but if it was for her, why would the details be mine? I asked the guy who the sender was and he said the person told him to tell me he was going to call me. A he?

I held my phone for about an hour and nobody called. I just concluded it was definitely a prank from my friend trying to make fun of me for being single. I put my phone somewhere and went about my activities only to come back to meet 2 missed calls from Anonymous. “Why is this one calling me today”, I asked myself because we don’t really talk on phone. Two calls wouldn’t be a mistake so I just decided to call back. I called and the first thing I heard was “do you like them?”.

Honestly I had forgotten about the package and I had to pause for a minute to understand what he meant. After I understood his question and got to know he was the sender, I was so shocked and smiled so wide. I still hadn’t opened the package because I wanted to know the sender first.I now rushed to open it and to my surprise it was a perfume with a sweet mild scent and two hand creams that wouldn’t make my palms sweat too much.

I was so surprised and also emotional because what he did meant alot to me. I am really excited and grateful. Looks like I’m about to enter my lover girl era so everyone should watch out. I still haven’t accepted the second date though.
