Mini Tour Of Eastern Region, Ghana
In Ghana, one of the lowkey regions many people dream of visiting is the Eastern Region. As kids, the things we learned about certain places in the region made us never stop imagining how the place was like. For me, I couldn’t stop imagining how the Akosombo dam looked like. I just wanted to see the “thing” behind Ghana’s electricity.
Of course, there are a lot more. I mean talk of lake Volta, Adomi bridge, longitude 0°, the monkey sanctuary and a whole lot. It’s actually funny how many Ghanaians have never been to the eastern side before even though they’ve lived all their lives in Ghana.
What I realized in Eastern Region is that even though it’s a very big place, everyone knows everyone. I’m not sure how to explain that but let me put it this way: strangers are easily noticed.
Anyway, Eastern Region is a 10/10 region and I’m not sure why it took me this long to visit the place. From the mountains to the water bodies to the tropical forests. Oh! A little thing you should know is that food is kind of expensive over here.
For those of you who have never been to the eastern side before, this is me doing you all the honour of making a little tour of a few interesting places in the Eastern Region of Ghana. @yahuzah and @depressedfuckup, you are greatly welcome.

See me sorrying for those guys you mentioned, lol.
The place looks cool and it will be a great place for an excursion, the bridge really got me admiring 🥹. Well, the blue sky too and the water 😍
I’m even more than sorry for them too😂
Yes it is and you can never have enough
Let’s add this to our list when you come to Ghana 🥹
It's the Hollywood intro for me 😂 🔥
Please that Adomi bridge is such a highlight. One picture of me there and I have blown. And Lake Volta too.
Abenad the traveler/editor/oppressor, you have done well 🙌🏽
🤣🤣🤣
Thank you
The opening took me out too😂😂
🤣🤣🤣
I regret to confess that I am one of the group of Ghanains who have never been to Eastern before. I just recently became aware of many of these places thanks to a cultural day we had at some event (for a lack of better word). Beautiful sites!
I was in Accra last week and I planned to go to Volta Region as a detour before coming home. I wanted to see Sogakope and the beautiful beaches a group of friends have been telling me about non-stop over the past few weeks. Unfortunately, I had to abort because lack of funds is a bitch.😂😂
I was a bit surprised seeing "Lower Volta River" in the places. I guess I thought it would be somewhere in the Volta Region.
Lack of funds is really a bitch and you could get arrested for saying lower volta river is in volta region🤣.
I mean there’s lake volta in volta region but it passes through eastern region to other parts of Ghana actually.
I need to send you on a tour soon. Forget about funds.
Why didn't I think of this? Lake Volta flows under a certain bridge I have used many times on the Eastern Corridor, so jokes on you, @yahuzah😂.
Arigatogozaimasu🙏😂
Ohh you’ve used the bridge a lot of times?
Okay then you need no tour 😂
😂😂 naa you can’t lie to us
The intro dierr Hollywood ain’t got nothing on you oo😂😂. You see what I mean when I say you’re not a good person? You go on your trips and adventures and never invite me 😂.
This one dierr it’s only @depressedfuckup I feel bad for😂. I have used the Adomi bridge on a number of occasions in the past 😂.
That's one out of how many again??
That’s just one I decided to mention 😂
🤣🤣🤣
Meh😂
It’s okay, you’ve caught him🤣
🤣🤣🤣tell them we’re coming🤣
Oh oh, you’re always busy 😂
😂😂 busy with what
😂 don’t tell me the reason for not inviting me is cos you went with you know who😅
Please I didn’t go with anyone 🤣
I wanted to go with you but you were getting married that Saturday 😂
😂😂 biggest lie of the season.
You went with him so you didn’t invite me
😂😂
You tagged your targeted audience 😂😂.

Can't help but noticed how clean the river is even the one for fishing. Come to the community I live in and see the river there 😑
How is it like?
I'll get a picture and send to you. It's literally a dump site.
Oh
Maybe i will come to explore Ghana one day and spend about some months there. The view here actually looks amazing and who knows I might see one diva to take home. Maybe I go marry one Ghana babe🤔
Hehe, all the best😂
Thank you 😊. You might even end up as my in-law who knows
Ei😂
