Makeup Gone Wrong -LOH #189

I know this will be funny but you ladies should not laugh plenty if not I’ll run away.
I remember this like it was just yesterday. I wanted to learn makeup so bad and I actually did learn it. I didn’t know that just like any other thing, you had to keep on practicing makeup to be perfect. When I say I learned it, I mean I watched YouTube videos. Three or four videos and actually did the makeup in my head. It wasn’t even difficult for me at all. I also kept the picture above, which is a screenshot from a makeup artist’s status to guide me.

Finally, I bought the products and even with that I felt like I didn’t need all of the products. I didn’t buy primer and setting spray. I felt they weren’t necessary after all from what I learned on YouTube and what I practiced in my head, I didn’t use any primer or setting spray. I believe most people know what these two are used for. They are just used to make your makeup last long. I was so happy when I bought the products. I felt like yeah, this was the time to shine. The most important thing I forgot to buy was wet wipes. What I’ll use to clean the make up off my face.

There was this particular day that I had a date. No it wasn’t a friendship date, it was a romantic one. I was talking to this guy that I liked and he invited me out. I felt like oh perfect time to show my makeup skills. I brought my makeup bag out. I knew I had to do my eyebrows first. I mean from what I had learned.
You know the thing with makeup if you’re beginner? Whatever you do will look nice in your eyes until someone tells you what they see.

Unfortunately for me, I didn’t have anyone at home that time to check what I was doing. I was using a ring light to check my face and there was so much light so I couldn’t see whether it was so bright or not. For me I was doing okay. I realized I used almost half of the concealer but to me it was fine because the goal was to do flawless makeup no matter what it took. Oh the powder? it looked like poured it on my face. Everything was just too much. My eyebrows looked so funny,as if I had drawn a zigzag line but to me I looked pretty.

I was using those small mirrors in makeup stuff so I wasn’t seeing my full face. After I was done, I walked to the mirror and I shouted. Guess what? My own face scared me. I had to close my eyes and open them again to check my face. Ei! What is this? At that moment, my date also called that he was almost at my house so I should be ready. I had to tell him that my little brother got hurt and was crying so much. Which meant I would have to postpone it to another day. Ladies and gentlemen, I don’t even have a little brother o(hahaha).

Fortunately, he said it was fine and returned home. Now I went back to the mirror to check the nonsense on my face. The way I laughed at myself. I laughed so much that I cried. I tried cleaning with water since I didn’t have wet wipes and it got worse making me laugh the more. I went online to check how to clean make and I found one where the person used soup and water. Throughout the cleaning process, I was just laughing. I laughed the whole night. My mom didn’t even understand why I was laughing so much when she came back home but up till date nobody knows what exactly happened that night.
