They call me “Rich Kid”
Good day to you all my tutors and learners here on Hive.
I remain this humble soul who is always ready to appreciate my existence on the surface, once we realize that staying alive is never by our power or might then we know that all we have to do in life is to thank God for his mercy and grace over us.
You can't tell what you know about someone by just taking a glance at them. There is more to be hidden that you don't know of unless you are being told. The reason why you don't have to compare someone's level of success and achievement to yours.
There are times when I see some youngsters in big and luxurious cars, living a fancy and nice lifestyle in big houses and having a blast with their lives. I don't get bothered about them. They have their lives and I have mine. You can't say much about a man who is still striving to become rich to that of a rich man trying not to become poor. The story is different.
My story
I remember my final year in the university which was around early 2021. Those are the days I can never forget in my lifetime. 😛
Hopefully, days better than that could come back into existence again.
This was a time when the crypto verse experienced a big-time bull run, from airdrops down to trading. No matter what you do you will have to gain from your actions then. Not that there is no loss, but when you have a profit three times your loss, you might just count your loss as a part of your profit 😂. Those eras came and I am glad I was able to embrace them.
I have been in the crypto verse years back before 2021. But I never shined and got the attention I got that year. I just have my hustle on a low-key and cash out the little amount I can. When the bull run came people already forgot about my days of hustling but could see the days of good luck. Now they all want to have a lifestyle like mine.
I told them you have to start from scratch. They don't want that, they want to jump over and get to where I am. Though I tried for the little people I could, it can never be like they have background knowledge of what they are trying to do.
That year I was lucky to have an airdrop worth some hundred thousand naira. And also I invested in some tokens I accumulated from an online platform then. Though it later crashed during that time I was lucky enough to take my profits. Everything came around the same time. From the airdrops I got, I also invested in some other tokens to build more and profit more.
I couldn’t believe those moments. I ate what I wanted, spend as I wanted, and gave out as much as I could. I remembered when a guy walked down to me and told me to please wait, he wanted to take a capture of my dress. 😂. Many people also did the same. Those were those that could come down to me, some others must have just sighted it and kept it in memory or appreciated it silently.
It was really fun. My friend blasted it all. His life also changed so quickly. I was still trying to be a decent man. But on his side, he changed totally. His dress sense was just out of it. Those days people started giving us several names. Some must think I have gone into fraudulent activities, those who know my story and are closer to me will call me a “rich kid.”
My friend got the nickname “Elon Musk of Africa”. I got a lot of attention from people. Many will come down to me just to learn the basics of cryptocurrency and how they can make money, and some will come just to mingle along and enjoy the moments. Those days were just so wonderful.
Now the BULL RUN is over!
Yeah, that's why I said you can't compare yourself to others. You see those people that came when everything was rosy, those that wanted to build their Rome in a day. They’ve all backed out. No more bull runs. When the DIP market hit so bad around 2022, I realized no one truly loves me. 😂.
Where are all these people? I had to keep up with my struggle again and make sure I never got down. It wasn’t that worse but not compared to the bull market era.
Yeah, I am happy I am still on track and doing well. I believe with time everything will get well again. Then those who didn’t see me struggling would see me flaunting. 😂.

Money is like light, when you have it every insect will like to come to get illumination but when it's off, they all leave🤣😂 this is why it is difficult for a rich man to know who his true friends really are.

Yeah. We have to be careful. And that’s just the way it has to be. I think it’s best to learn about stuffs before diving into them.

Damn 😂😂, that is the definition of people to you, most of them were around just profit from your gains. Human beings and their selfish interest are 5&6. I'm glad you were not carried away by their praise, assuming you are left with nothing right now those people will still come back to mock you.
