The Yearly Badge

January 1st 2025. We will go again this year!

I can't say I have been so much anticipating this day to come. Even though many people sometimes say it's no different from the past days and that is true. But we can't ignore the fact that it's not like yesterday. There are some things you can't do on other days but only when the new day of the new year kicks in.

Last year we all had plans for the year. A lot of targets and accomplishments. We really had to do a lot of things to meet up with our plans. Many of which we made some online and some offline.

I can remember one of my offline targets for last year was on my business. I don't know how it's going to happen or where to even start. But the beginning of the year made me realize the long journey ahead of me.

Anyways, yesterday looking back at how far I have gone in the business I realize I might have not hit the target, but I am surely not off target. This has been a driving force for me to do better.

Mission on Hive.

Last year was just as it was. I never had a lot of plans for my HP nor have I targeted an amount to save or stake on other tokens. But one thing I set my mind so firmly on was to make sure I get the yearly badge by the end of the year.

This means I will be writing continuously nonstop for 365 days. I have to keep up with the daily streak and not miss out on any day. It appeared so hard in the beginning and that was the first month. But when i got my way around it. I realized it was even way easier than anticipated.

I embarked on the journey and then gradually counted my progress. Not until that very day in the 9th month. I lost that streak! It was painful but I had a mindset of going again. I had a mindset of starting all over and the only time I have to do that is the new year!

My Target on Hive for this year!

Yeah. Last year I didn’t make it public about my mission on the yearly badge. But this time around I am making it my first priority. I will be more determined to get it accomplished by the end of the year.

Another accomplishment is to try as much to make sure I accumulate more HP before the year ends. I won't say an exact number of HP but I want something commendable.

Lastly, I would love to have some HBD and Hive in my savings. Then many other hive engine tokens staked. This is something I hope and plan for and I hope I get to accomplish it all.
