The Importance of Cybersecurity.

We live in a generation where people aren’t ready to work but they actually want to earn and live well. Those that are working day and night know the value of what they are working for, and they will make sure they do their best to preserve and conserve their earnings as little or as much as they earned. But out there are some lazy set of people who want to make it big in the twinkle of their eyes ready to loot all of those hard-earning others made.

There is always this idea of spending lavishly when it’s some earning you don't work for, you won't know the value of it. And that's just one way to recognize those who must have made their wealth illegally. Though there are some who make wealth legally but don't know how to manage their wealth too.

I have seen a lot of people complain about their hard earned money being wiped off from their accounts. Most of this tend to happen in the crypto space. The decentralized system of operation that runs the crypto space makes it easier to hack and scam people. Despite the fact that there are cybersecurity measures, that doesn’t stop cybercrimes.

My uncle recently lost all the money in his bank account, it was a huge amount of money. Someone must have wired the amount out of his account through his debit card details. He was so down, but he had to move on.

I have also experienced all my funds being wiped out of my account some years ago. A guy had to borrow my debit card so he could use it to make some payments online. He never told me he was going to do other things with my card. He saved my card details already. Then after payment he returned it to me. I trusted him to some extent because of his friend whom i know very well.

That same day after his money had been deducted, I began to receive different debit alerts on my phone. I was shocked and then immediately I walked to the bank to block my card immediately. But before that he already used all the money left in my account to shop online. I later challenged him but he denied he was the culprit.

In the crypto space too there have been a lot of experiences about wallet hacks and scams. Hacking happens to those who are even knowledgeable about the crypto space. But scams most times are experienced by those that doesn’t know much or anything about the crypto space or by mistakes.

Hackers work hard to loot people's hard earned funds. They battle against security measures. I remembered a time when my brother's wallet got hacked and all his tokens were transferred to an exchange, swapped and then withdrawn from his wallet. My friend also had this similar experience recently.

Cyber security is important, but I think when there is a little slack in the security system, a lot of people would have to bear the consequences of it. And therefore rendering utmost importance to the use of cybersecurity.
