Generational Wealth Vs Generational Curse.

Sometimes, I just wonder and ponder a lot about life—its multidimensionality, the tricky and natural way of how life happens. At times, we just get to see things happening in some way that we tend to have little or no understanding of, and we actually find it difficult to explain. But all in all, that's life for us.

Sometimes I wonder why some people were born into wealth and some are just into extreme poverty, why some were born into extreme suffering and some never had a sweat drop down their face. Some are born with a curse on them and some with a blessing. Is it a system where we can change our fate? Or it's just so permanent and there is nothing we can do about it.

We hear tales about some families and generations suffering from the sins of their forefathers and we also hear of some enjoying the blessings their forefathers got them into. I read about the richest families in the world and realized that their wealth was just some kind of generational wealth and not something that was built overnight.

It must have taken their ancestors a lot of effort and consistency to build up, and then another thing is passing it down to generations to come. No one can deny the fact that they shouldn’t enjoy the generational wealth they inherited.

So do some families already lay down generational sufferings for their unborn generation? It's so sad that those who will be fated into such a generation never knew what their ancestors did but they will be a part of the suffering and agony, they will have to taste the calamity that befalls their generation and most times there is nothing they can do about it.

Fighting against it is one way out. But they should know that it would come with a lot of sacrifices and probably the sacrifice might have a turnaround for their whole generation.

That's life. So I just think it's best if we live a life that when we are gone no one will have to suffer from the karma of our actions. If they should then it should be for good. I have seen instances where the parents are no more and the kids get to be rewarded for the actions of their parents. Rewards that actually turned their life for the better.

Sometimes I just feel like those who compare their existence with others are actually wasting their time. Why would you have to compare yourself to others? Instead of that, why not work on yourself and try to be the person you want to be? A lot of people we compare ourselves to, don't know what their parents or loved ones are doing for them in secret. Thereby on our end, it might be quite different.

Someone whose parents have always woken day and night to pray for success for their kids, and someone whose parents are less concerned about them and never prayed or wished them well. Can they be compared to each other?

I feel that children should reap from the goodness their parents did. And then if it were to be punishment for their sins. I hope there should be a generation that would wake up and fight against it being passed down to the next.
