24/7 News?? A Yes or No.

News to me has been one of my dislikes. I don't know why I just dislike listening to news updates. When I was a child, whenever dad turned the TV station into a news channel, I would always find it boring to remain in the sitting room watching it with him, most times it's either I vacate the room or I sleep off.

If it were to be sports news then I can still find myself watching it. Though most times extra boring. But I might prefer it to the normal news updates.

Reading newspapers have also been something I dislike too. If you see me on new pages it’s either I am reading, trying to solve some riddles or puzzles attached to the pages. I don't like reading news updates.

My reason for not being interested in the news updates is that, most times they are always not about something good. Whenever you read them, either you get yourself concerned about the updates or you just find it unrealistic.

I can't say much about the news media, but at times it’s obvious that the media would always try to brainwash us with their updates. Either they picture something that is untrue to us making us dwell in fear and agony or they exaggerate the reality for us so we can feel bored and concerned.

I haven’t seen someone watch the news and feel so happy after watching it, whether they are regretfully arguing about political matters, or they are pathetically sympathizing with the incidents they have watched. It's so rare when you have the new publish good things, they do, but it is just once a blue moon.

Just like everything has its advantages and disadvantages. Listening or watching news comes with its own benefits, as to keep the listener up to date about what’s going on around them. But for some people, listening to news updates is just the other way round. If they don't have to worry, or they get emotionally affected so fast, then I think it's better they just stay away from listening to news updates.

As for me, I dont put interest in news updates. There were times when I would use my phone to browse whatever is going on in the world. But at some point I just get bored of it. But regardless, I didn’t stay off update’s totally. I love the way I live a peaceful life, just trying to know what's going on around me and working my way to have a good life for myself.

Since I am not the news type I would make sure I try as much to ask for updates or pay attention to updates from people who are always actively listening to news updates. But when it gets to a point of argument or having regrets, I would just find my way out without making any contribution.

If I haven’t gotten to the level where I can make an impact on the news and the system of the country, I still don’t see a reason why I should feel so emotionally downcasted listening to news. When we all know that most of the updates are fabricated and unrealistic.
