Sweet Soup Shop - Bad experience

I recently visited a dessert tea shop in Soc Son town and would like to share my thoughts on it.

Firstly, the place is quite spacious with three distinct areas: one for sweet desserts, another for Nha Trang-style grilled pork rolls, and a third for Trung Nguyen coffee and real estate transactions. The atmosphere is cool and dignified, reasonably clean and airy. However, the decor is overly busy with walls in various colors like red and pink, making the overall ambiance a bit chaotic and not particularly pleasant for relaxing.

As for the desserts, I've tried their coconut sweet soup dessert multiple times, presumably under the brand "Ngoc Thach Quan," which seems to be a franchised operation here. Unfortunately, I wasn't impressed. The quality of the food didn't meet my expectations—the desserts were overly sweet with too much jelly, lacking the distinctive flavor I remember from the original "Ngoc Thach Quan."

Moreover, despite an extensive menu listing around 100 dessert options, most of the items I tried to order were unavailable, indicating they may not actually prepare these dishes.

I also took a peek at their kitchen, which only had a few colorful jelly bowls with no other toppings in sight.

I guess they focus on real estate sales, they don't really focus on improving the quality of desserts.
Interestingly, the prices are quite reasonable, around 25,000 VND per bowl of dessert (approximately USD), but the quality simply doesn't justify the cost. I was keen to sample more dessert varieties listed on their menu but was disappointed by their unavailability.

Overall, while the tea shop offers spacious and comfortable seating areas, the food quality and service are lacking. I'm not sure if the restaurant owners prioritize improving the food quality. If you're just looking for a place to sip coffee or enjoy grilled pork rolls, it might be worth considering, but if you're visiting for dessert, this place might not live up to expectations
